A man with an extraordinary voice, a multi-instrumentalist, a sublime crooner.
Since childhood music has always been a part of his life but the actual calling as a singer he discovered in his mid-twenties.
And it all started… under the shower! As a student at the Amsterdam Conservatory he sang songs of his greatest idol Frank Sinatra while his fellow students motivated and encouraged him to follow this path. From that moment on Tom Gaebel developed from an instrumentalist to the singer Tom Gaebel who finished his studies in Jazzvocals – cum laude.
After his musical studies in trombone, drums and as a jazz singer, he moved from Amsterdam to Cologne and founded his first big band. Since then Tom Gaebel thrilled international audiences with his 12 piece orchestra and is a frequent guest on TV and radio stations.
The wide range of musical knowledge and skills allows the world-class arranger, composer, instrumentalist, singer, bandleader and award-winning entertainer to draw from a seemingly endless pool of possibilities. Whether with his jazz trio or the full band, each show is an individual artistic picture that sets standards.
